Connector Organization for the DOE's American-Made Challenges
Positive Deviancy is a Platinum Level Connector Organization that recruits startups and entrepreneurs to participate in the DOE's American-Made Prize Challenges. We provide the expert support, resources, and connections that innovators need to successfully navigate these prize competitions.
Positive Deviancy has supported renewable energy prize competitors in 38 different energy topic prize challenges. We facilitated 203 prize application submissions which resulted in 49 teams advancing to receive funding, and from those teams, 9 advanced to be grand prize winners. We have directly helped competitors receive over $9.3M in cash awards and $1.7M in National Lab vouchers.

Positive Deviancy’s Embryia Accelerator Studio was awarded funding as a semi-finalist in the Department of Energy’s American-Made Network 2022 Energy Program Innovation Cluster Challenge.
